Cookies/Problems with forms
To use the Assess, Select, or Justify sections of RehabCentral, you need to be a registered user. Being a registered user allows you to save client records against a secure name and password. The password is stored on your computer as a "cookie" (small text file).
You may be having a problem with our forms if "cookies" are turned off. Many facilities may have their browser set not to accept cookies as a security measure. You can turn cookies "on", accept a cookie from RehabCentral, and then turn cookies "off" if necessary.
To turn cookies "on" using Internet Explorer, go to the VIEW menu, select INTERNET OPTIONS and click on the ADVANCED tab. Scroll down to COOKIES section under security, and select ALWAYS ACCEPT COOKIES. Click OK.
To turn cookies "on" using Netscape Navigator, go to the EDIT menu, select PREFERENCES and click on ADVANCED. In the COOKIES section, click ACCEPT ALL COOKIES. Click OK.
I downloaded the file and it still doesn't work
If you have downloaded Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Adobe Acrobat and it still doesn't work, you may not have "installed" them correctly. After downloading the files, you need to "run" the files to install them.
When you first download the file, you are asked whether you want to open it or save it to disk. If you choose "open it" then it will run automatically after it is downloaded (although this is not the best alternative with a file that may take a couple of hours to download, as you need to be at your computer when it runs).
If you choose to "save to disk" then you need to remember where you saved it. I usually save downloaded files to my desktop, so they are easy to open and run. If you use AOL, they are probably in the AOL downloads folder. If you don't know where you downloaded them to, you can search for them by clicking the START button, then FIND, and enter the file name. For IE the file is probably named ie4setup.exe for Adobe Acrobat the file is probably named ar302.exe. Once you find the file, double click it to open it, and it will "run" and install the programs on your computer. Then it should work!

How can I modify the stock printed reports?
To output your Clinician's Assistant reports into a word processor this is what you do:
Click PRINT at the top of the Clinician's Assistant page to bring up the print screen, and select the report you want to print. You will be prompted to select a client. Once the report pops up in a window, click on the file menu of the report window and choose SAVE AS. Give the file a name, and use the extension (.txt) to save the file as a text file, and save it into the directory of your choice.
You can now open the report into a word processor for further editing. For best results, we recommend Microsoft Word as your word processor.
Printing blank forms for paper entry
To print blank forms from the Clinician's Assistant, choose PRINT at the top of the page. Next, select BLANK FORMS on the right then click on the report you want to print. The document will open in Adobe Acrobat, and you can print the document by clicking on the printer icon.
If you do not have Adobe Acrobat you can download it at http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html
How do I get rid of headers and footers when I print reports?
To get rid of headers and footers when you print reports, before you print select PAGE SETUP from the FILE menu, and delete the text that is in the header and footer text boxes, then select OK to save these settings.
